The Bourne Identity - Robert Ludlum

Ah finally got to finish this book after chipping at it for over a month now. No it's not the book it's just me being a little - let's say sidetracked. The book is simply thrilling. It kept my on the edge of my seat (well ok, my bed:) all the time. There is no question that the book is much better than the movie. You can convey so much more in terms of feelings, in a book than you can in a movie and the author has done a wonderful job at portraying the storm of emotions invading Jason and Marie's minds throughout their journey. The book starts of with Jason finding himself bullet riddled on an unknown island in the Mediterranean where a near mad doctor looks after him and brings him back to life. From then on Jason never rests for a second, moving from Zurich, to Paris and then the French coutryside finally ending up in the US to end the story where it was begun. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
